TVNEXT, the German expert for video technology and IPTV, will showcase the next generation of video management at the ‘Internet World’ trade show from March 27 to 28 in Munich. As more and more brands are focusing on content-rich Web 2.0 and video-based communication strategies, IP-based end-to-end play out solutions are the key to efficient deployment and high-quality user experience across a multitude of   platforms and consumer devices.

The TVNEXT Video Management System (TVNEXT VMS) has been successfully deployed for companies including Audi, Deutsche Telekom, EWE, ORF and ZDF, powering media and branded portals, IPTV platforms or web TV services. At Internet World, TVNEXT will present the latest developments in VMS technology and is also speaking within the congress. Within the Streaming Video Summit at the show Michael Strier, video management expert and Key Account Manager at TVNEXT, will explain the function of a centralized video management system to enable content delivery on multiple devices, showcasing the TVNEXT customer project Audi.tv.

Today, a next generation video management system (VMS) serves as a generalist and fully-fledged all-rounder, covering all tasks of video management: starting from a central content pool system and the delivery mechanism and infrastructure to reach different device platforms, the VMS controls add-on modules such as interactive navigation functionality, integration of social networks or community features up to non-proprietary players to enable easy cooperation with several partners of a brand. In this way, the “brand experience 2.0” reaches smart phones, tablets, PCs, or the connected TV, offering a consistent high quality experience.
